5k

I just ran my first official 5k today. If your not a runner that's 3.1 miles. Its definitely not that far, however, I normally run about 2 miles so it was pushing it a little. My time was 28.36 minutes. Not that great but hey, I wasn't in it to win. It was fun to be with so many runners and also some close friends. There is a 5 mile coming up in the end of October in a place called Bernheim Forest, a beautiful park in Bullitt County. It is intriguing, I must say. We'll see!
