For a while now, I've been wanting to write a post about where I find most of my creative inspiration. I find it incredibly helpful when other photographers write about how they are inspired and challenged and I also wanted to at least post the links of some of my favorite photographers, or those that I look at on a regular basis. Some are a daily stop...others weekly...still others monthly! Some are commercial, others are freelance. Some shoot only weddings, others shoot children and family portraits. Either way, whenever I am about to shoot an event, depending on what it is, I'll spend time reviewing the art of others for inspirational purposes. Thanks to the wide use of blogs and the willingness of others to post their work, there is a wealth of sites to look at! There are probably thousands of websites and blogs that I don't know about, but these are the ones that I have stumbled across and frequent often! If you are a photographer or simply love looking at good pictures check out some of these links!
If anyone has specific places that they look for inspiration, shoot my the links...I love discovering new sites!

Bats Game!
Man what a beautiful day!! It was perfect for just about anything...even baseball!! It was beautifully sunny and around 85 degrees! I love summer time! It was my first Bats game tonight, Jenny's also (thanks to a friend who had season tickets) and they WON! Normally any baseball games I go to, whoever I am cheering for loses...but not this time! It was fun and relaxing; took us about 5 minutes to get home too...always a plus!!

Penguins Take Game 3
As predicted, Pittsburgh did better on home ice and took home a 3-2 win over the Wings! No need to worry, by any means, however! It was a great game! Both teams fought for it like crazy!! Game four will be a good one on Saturday!

What's The Deal?
So...I don't get it! Last night some friends and I sat down to watch the Stanley Cup semi-finals between the Dallas Stars and the Red Wings. I was very excited and very much looking forward to watching the game...but as we surfed the channels we came to find out that apparently non of the local or national stations decided to broadcast the game! Even ESPN decided to show arena football and baseball over the SEMI-FINALS of the Stanley Cup! Needless to say, I was very upset! I can only hope they have enough sense the play the finals!
Nonetheless, the Wings took home the win! The series against the Penguins should be a good one! Hope I get to see it! GO WINGS!

Malko Wedding
John and Brooke were married at the Presbyterian Seminary right down the road. It is such a beautiful place and great for an outdoor wedding! The day couldn't have been more perfect weather wise either! Here are some more of my favorite images from the day!
These guys were tons of fun!
The best man and ring, I love the wooden box!
The ladies were pretty fun as well!
Some tears during the ceremony.
Don't peak!
Juice(age).
Anna-Kate (flower girl) was pretty stinkin cute!
I loved the lattice at the seminary!
Sassy attitude!
She was truly fascinated by the grooms cake...I don't think she believed it was really edible!
This little buddy was getting down with the ladies!

Thursday, May 15'th
Should be a good day today! Things are staying busy with another Wedding that I am excited about tomorrow, editing, and continuing work on the website. I think next week I will be able to get on some what of a normal schedule which will be nice! For today...editing and website work. To keep me company...some good coffee, and Podcasts! This is the benefit to sitting by a computer for hours on end, I can listen to a TON of messages and podcasts. Among the many are Dave Ramsey, J.R Lee, Gary Lamb, Steven Furtick, Keith Palmer, John Macarthur, Mark Driscoll, C.J. Mahaney, and others! Praise the Lord for the internet and podcasts!!

The Ville
Had the opportunity to hang out across the river a couple nights ago. My girlfriend's mom was in town for a few days so we got some ice cream and enjoyed a great view of the city! It was fun! One of the reasons I love Louisville is that there are so many cool/scenic places to visit!

Catching up!
Now that things are beginning to slow down I can catch up on my blogging. First up...a great wedding I shot this past Saturday for Kat and Derrick Holloman. Both Kat and Derrick are tons of fun and this was no different the day of their wedding!
Kat anxiously awaits Derrick seeing her in her dress for the first time!
A little jump action!
They played a great slide show of Kat and Derrick growing up!
Tears were shed many times throughout the ceremony...mostly by Derrick too! :)
Such focus!
Kat's father conducted the ceremony.
Friends look on.
Shaun Daniels catches the garter!
Some details; the coffee punch was the JAM!
Off to the Honeymoon!
